Education is universally recognized as a fundamental right, yet access to quality education remains elusive for many across the world. The results of our most recent survey provide insight into the difficulties and triumphs faced by students as they continue their academic careers.
Most respondents fell within the category of 6th to 10th grade, indicating a common trend where education up to the secondary level is achievable, yet further progression may face additional hurdles. Among them a large number expressed a desire to continue their education beyond primary school, with answers overwhelmingly reflecting "Yes." This suggests that motivation and aspiration for learning are high despite obstacles. Although, there were some respondents who believe that it depends on the child's future goals.
One of the most positive outcomes of the survey is that 95% of respondents indicated that their guardians were supportive of their education, and only 5% had unsupportive parents.
A few respondents who are currently not receiving education say that they are restricted from receiving an education due to reasons such as familial responsibilities, financial difficulties, gender inequality, monetary issues and having a disability.
This article emphasizes how urgent it is to take action on a local level to tear down these obstacles and advance the idea that everyone has the right to an education in the future.
